ISTOM
School of international Agro-development
ISTOM is an agro-development school leading to a master degree, located in France, near Paris.
It offers a five years multidisciplinary training, in which is taught agronomy, science life and environment, economic sciences and social studies. This theoretical knowledge will give the future graduated the opportunity to understand the context of developing countries and have the proper approach in their work.
The first three years are dedicated to the fundamental teaching whereas the last two are linked with the different specialisations.
During the training, many internships and expertise missions are demanded, which permits the students to familiarize with the professional world and project management.
Students who graduate from ISTOM have the abilities needed to act in tropical region within differents fields including water and environment management, animal or plant production, development projects...
